A multi view image display apparatus is provided. The multi view image display apparatus comprises: a depth control unit which controls the depth of an inputted image; a rendering unit which performs rendering of a multi view image based on the image with the depth thereof controlled; a display unit which displays the multi view image by arranging the same in an existing arrangement pattern; and a control unit which controls the depth control unit to shift the depth of an inputted image, for an object satisfying a predetermined criteria to have a predetermined depth value, based on the depth information of at least on object included in the inputted image.
