<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder by which sheet materials can be surely taken out one by one from a stacking tray stacked with a sheet bundle comprising a plurality of sheet materials. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet feeder 1 includes: a first roller 3 rotating in a manner of conveying an uppermost sheet material S1 of the sheet bundle S stacked on the stacking tray 22 in a feeding direction K; a resilient body 24 bringing the sheet bundle S stacked on the stacking tray 22 into press contact with the first roller 3 by urging the stacking tray 22; a guide member 4 arranged on a downstream side of the stacking tray 22 in the feeding direction and guiding the sheet material conveyed by the first roller 3; a second roller 6 arranged on the downstream side of the first roller 3 in the feeding direction and rotating while pinching the sheet material between the guide member 4 and itself; a rotational force transmitting means transmitting the rotational force of the second roller 6 to the first roller 3; and a thickness detecting means 8 arranged on the downstream side of the first roller 3 in the feeding direction and detecting the thickness of the sheet material conveyed by the first roller 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
