<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having a high light emission efficiency and a long life, a display device and a luminaire each having the element, and an organic electroluminescent element material used for the element.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent element material comprises a compound including a partial structure having an aromatic heterocyclic 5-membered ring A and an aromatic heterocyclic 5-membered ring B condensed; the aromatic heterocyclic 5-membered ring A includes a nitrogen atom as a ring constituent atom, and the aromatic heterocyclic 5-membered ring B includes a sulfur atom as a ring constituent atom. The partial structure has one or two condensed rings expressed by the general formula (1) below. The condensed ring expressed by the general formula (1) has a condensed ring consisting of a benzene ring substituted by an aromatic ring. A case where the organic electroluminescent element material comprises an organic metal complex is excluded. A 5-membered ring is not further condensed to the condensed ring expressed by the general formula (1). [Chem.1]</p> |
