<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a user cannot know whether a large-sized form of size A3, ledger size, etc., is loaded since the remaining amounts of a right tray and a left tray of a paper feeder are displayed individually even when the large-sized form is loaded in both the right and left trays in a straddling state.SOLUTION: First and second detection parts detect whether forms are loaded in first and second loading parts where forms of predetermined size can be loaded. It is determined whether forms larger than the predetermined size are loaded in the first and second loading parts in a straddling state. When it is determined that the large-sized forms are loaded, the remaining amount of forms is displayed based upon detection by one of the first and second detection parts, and when it is determined that no large-sized form is loaded, on the other hand, the remaining amounts of forms are displayed based upon detection by the first and second detection parts respectively.</p> |
