<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement instrument, method, and system capable of smoothly measuring a liquid level height of a liquid stored in a tank at a low cost with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The measurement system includes: a band-shaped or string-shaped material 7 to be fed, which is wound around a take-up drum 6 supported on a frame body 4; measurement means which measures a feed amount of the material 7 to be fed, which is fed out from the take-up drum 6 and hangs on the side of a liquid surface 1a; a liquid level detection unit 8 which is provided at a front end part of the material 7 to be fed and detects that the front end part has reached the side of the liquid surface 1a; and a control unit 29. When it is detected by the liquid level detection unit 8 that the front end part of the material 7 to be fed has reached the side of the liquid surface 1a, the control unit 29 detects a feed amount of the material 7 to be fed, by feed amount detection means 32 being the measurement means or prompts the measurement means to measure a feed amount, by notification from notification means provided on the side of the take-up drum 7 or the frame body 4.</p> |
