PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode body of a secondary battery and a secondary battery which enable the enhancement of the easiness of filling an electrolyte into an electrode body without breaking a positive electrode and a negative electrode nor causing an internal short circuit.SOLUTION: An electrode body 3 of a secondary battery 1 is arranged by laminating and winding a positive electrode 31, a negative electrode 32 and a separator 33 together. The positive electrode 31 and the negative electrode 32 have gradients Ga and Gb in thickness; the thickness of each of the positive electrode 31 and the negative electrode 32 increases or decreases in a direction of the winding axis of the electrode body 3 from one end of the electrode body 3 toward the other end. At least one of the thickness gradients Ga and Gb of the positive electrode 31 and the negative electrode 32 is within a range of 2×10to 5×10, or a range of -2×10to -5×10. |
