<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating device whose step slip sound is prevented.SOLUTION: A rotating device is composed of a housing having a cylindrical first engagement face 11a at an internal periphery, a rolling bearing engaged with the first engagement face 11a by clearance fitting, and a rotating shaft having a cylindrical second engagement face at an external periphery, and engaged with an internal periphery of the rolling bearing at the second engagement face. The rolling bearing has a cylindrical outer ring 71 formed with an outer ring side raceway face at an internal periphery, a cylindrical inner ring arranged at an internal peripheral side of the outer ring 71 and formed with an inner ring side raceway face at an external periphery, and rolling bodies rolling on the outer ring side raceway face and the inner ring side raceway face. When a contact width in an axial direction between the first engagement face 11a and the outer ring 71 is set as b, a diameter of the outer ring 71 is set as a, and a static friction coefficient between the first engagement face 11a and the outer ring 71 is set asμ, a contact length a and an outside diameter b of the outer ring 71 are selected so as to satisfy a relationship of a*b/(a*a+b*b)>μ.</p> |
