PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint metal of a timber in which a horizontal member which is jointed has a high mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A joint metal 1 is formed in L-shape in cross section, by including a flat-plate like side surface part 10, and a flat-plate like bottom surface part 20 extending at a right angle from a lower end side 19 of the side surface part. The bottom surface part includes, by a plurality of numbers, a recess 26 with a cut of a specified width at a right angle relative to a tip end side along the tip end side 21 parallel to the lower end side 19 which is a border line to the side surface part, with an interval being identical with the length of cut width, such that, a protruding piece 25 of which a protrusion length is equal to the depth of the recess and the length of the tip end side is equal to the length of a deep side 29 of the recess is formed with the recess alternately in the same number, with a plurality of small holes 30 penetrating the side surface part and the bottom surface part. |
