PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration enabling continuous and accurate detection of the existence of wind disturbance even in a case where wind directions are varied or a yaw rate is reduced by the operation of an aerodynamic device, in an apparatus for use in detecting the existence of wind disturbance, the apparatus usable in behavior or attitude control for suppressing an influence of wind disturbance to a vehicle or another movable body.SOLUTION: A wind detection apparatus for use in detecting presence of wind received by a movable body calculates respective absolute values of yaw rate, roll angle, vertical acceleration and lateral acceleration, and determines that a cross-wind blowing to a movable body exists if all of the calculated absolute values exceed respectively corresponding given thresholds. |
