The technical solution relates to decorative elements for automobiles. The technical result of the proposed technical solution consists in simplifying the design of a device, and also in increasing uniformity of light emission. The technical solution is carried out in the following way. A light source (7) and a translucent element (1) are prepared with the possibility of positioning the light source (7) in a cavity (6) and of leading power cords to same. Specifically, the translucent element (1) is prepared by casting into a mold in which the light source (7) is positioned with the cords being drawn through to the outside of the mold. A non-translucent element (3) is applied to a portion of the outer surface (2) of the translucent element (1), for instance by means of adhesion. In this way, light-penetrable areas (5) are formed. When applying a non-translucent element (3) by means of spraying, a stencil can be used for forming a desired symbol (shape). If the non-translucent element (3) is made of non-translucent film or foil, areas having the desired shape are cut out of same and are connected to the translucent element (1), for instance by means of an adhesive substance. |
