<p>[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an airbag device that makes it possible to reduce the size and weight of a deflector, and thus the entire device, while still exhibiting high strength with respect to an inflation gas. [Solution] In a representative configuration, this airbag device (300) is provided with the following: an inflator (320) that supplies an inflation gas; an airbag (310) that inflates due to the inflation gas from the inflator and has an insertion hole (312) into which the inflator is inserted; and a cloth deflector (330) that is disposed inside the airbag so as to cover part of a gas nozzle (322) on the inflator and smooths the flow of the inflation gas from the gas nozzle. This airbag device is characterized in that the part of the deflector that the inflation gas from the inflator first contacts is provided with a metal mesh (334) facing the inflator.</p> |
