<p>A pivot bearing for a vehicle wheel suspension comprises a sleeve portion (10) with a longitudinal axis (A) for receiving a damper or spring strut and also comprises a wheel bearing attachment portion (20) which is integrally formed on the sleeve portion (10) and which has a through opening (22) and an uneven number of fastening openings (23), arranged around the through opening (22), for fixing a wheel bearing to the wheel bearing attachment portion (209). A diagonal rib (14) extends out of the outer circumference (12) of the sleeve portion (10) and leads, crossing the longitudinal axis (A) of the sleeve portion (10) on the wheel side, to that fastening opening (23) of the wheel bearing attachment portion (20) which is closest to the sleeve portion (10). In this way, with a reduced component weight, an increase in stiffness in the region of the sleeve portion (10) is attained.</p> |
