<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the simple feeder of a belt-like material, which is high in synchronism with the line speed of an uncoiler and small in speed variation. <P>SOLUTION: The feeder is provided with: a first sensor 4a for detecting that the amount of a loop between the uncoiler 2 and a leveler feeder 5 is not less than a first amount; a second sensor 4b for detecting that the amount of the loop is not less than a second amount which is larger than the first amount; and a control means 40 for taking the feed rate of the uncoiler 2 as the line speed in the basic state where the first sensor is in the detection state and the second sensor is in non-detection state, reducing the feed rate from the line speed in the state where the loop is excessive, being the state where the second sensor is in the detection state and increasing the feed rate from the line speed in the state where the loop is too small, being the state where the first sensor 4a is in non-detection state, and performing the abnormal stop of the line at the point of time when the loop is too small and when the remaining feed length of a leveler feeder 5 exceeds a preregistered feedable length of an uncoiler 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
