A wind turbine 1, above which is positioned a slightly angled solar component 2. The solar component may comprise a rigid light weight metal or plastic upturned parabolic shaped dish covered by typical flexible solar panels 3 and may be held in place by a one or more rigid and hollow metal supports 4 through which the cable from the solar panels is threaded. Preferably the supports are attached to a metal tubular casing of the wind turbines shaft 5 or supported by one or more detachable circular metal bands 6. The assembly is intended for places of restricted space, such as on boats, caravans, motor homes, balconies etc. The assembly may be retrofitted to a pylon. |
