In photographic apparatus adapted to be driven through a driving gear 37, an electromagnetic clutch 33, and gears 35, 65, 67 and 31, the gears 65, 67 are secured to a shaft 63 which is resiliently mounted in order to avoid clashing of the teeth of the gear 31 with the teeth of the gear 67 when the film unit is advanced in the direction of the arrow 27 into its operating position. The shaft 63 is carried by spherical bearings 59, 61, the bearing 59 being rigidly mounted on one end of the shaft and the bearing 61 slidably mounted at the other end of the shaft and resiliently urged into contact with its seating by a helical compression spring 69. When clashing of the gears 31, 67 occurs, the shaft assumes the position shown in Fig. 2. |
