<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus configured to reduce warm-up time without causing image quality unevenness or fixability variation even when a thin heating roller (fixing roller) or a low-temperature fixing toner which requires short melting time is used, or to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A fixing apparatus includes a fixing roller including a heat source arranged in a rotatable cylindrical part, and a pressure roller which comes into pressure-contact with the fixing roller. The heat source is spaced from the center of the fixing roller. The fixing roller is half-rotated only once during warm-up of the fixing roller.</p> |
