发明名称 APPARATUS FOR COOLING CURRENT LEADS OF A SUPERCONDUCTING ROTATING MACHINE
摘要 The present invention relates to a cooling and supporting member for a current lead of a field coil of a superconducting rotating machine. A technical feature of the present invention is to simultaneously cool and support the current lead, which electrically connect a generator and a field coil. The invention allows a refrigerant supplied from a cooling system to circulate and cool the field coil of a rotating machine through an inner-pipe and then return to an outer-pipe and at the same time. A reinforcement jig with high thermal conductivity is formed on an external circumferential surface of the outer-pipe to contact and to quickly and seamlessly cool the current lead due to high thermal conductivity. The reinforcement jig prevents overheating of the current lead and reduces the occurrence of Joule′s heat to ensure the stable flow of electrical current and also to minimize the inflow of heat into the superconducting current lead in order to reduce the load of a refrigerating machine. Specifically, male and female heat absorbing pipes, corrugate tubes or bellows pipes, bent surface and the like are formed on the external circumferential surface of the reinforcement jig in contact with the current lead and the outer-pipe to flexibly cope with curved wiring of the current lead or variable length in installation and yet to greatly improve joining property and connection with the supporting member with surface-contact structure.
