The present invention relates to a method for designing a finite impulse response filter in a communication system, which includes a step of setting filter parameters for securing a finite impulse response filter; a step of calculating a window function by performing zero padding of a predetermined multiple on input data based on a predetermined filter parameter; a step of performing a high speed Fourier transform based on the calculated window function; and a step of setting a channel sum of predetermined numbers and the overlapping number of data applied according to the characteristic of a signal and securing a finite impulse response filter by using the high speed Fourier transform. The step of designing a filter parameter includes a step of allowing a channel sampling rate in the filter parameters to be twice bandwidth channel.
