<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high seal performance while reducing insertion resistance in a joint device in which a plug is inserted into a socket to be connected therewith.SOLUTION: A joint device A includes: a socket 10 having a cylindrical fitting part 12; an engagement member 30 which is attached to a communication hole 16 of the cylindrical fitting part 12 and displaces in a radial direction; a pressing surface 31 which is formed at an inner peripheral part of the engagement member 30 and inclines relative to an axis line; an operation member 40 which moves in the axis line direction thereby pressing and moving the engagement member 30 to the inner side in the radial direction; a plug 50 coaxially inserted into the cylindrical fitting part 12; a pressure receiving surface 54 which is formed at an outer periphery of the plug 50 and inclines relative to the axis line direction; and a seal member 20 which is elastically crushed between an innermost end surface of the cylindrical fitting part 12 and an apical surface of the plug 50.</p> |
