The purpose of the present invention is to facilitate the operation of separating male and female connectors. A female connector housing (8) is provided with a lever-accommodating portion (8B), and a lever (6) is pivotably mounted on an external surface (18) of a main body part (8A) inside. The lever (6) is provided with a locking arm (24). Provided at the tip of the locking arm (24) is an operating part (24B) covered by a protective part (28). When separating the female and male connectors (F, M), a first pinching face (27) formed on the operating part (24B) of the locking arm (24) and a second pinching face (29) of the protective part (28) are pinched, unlatching a locking protrusion (25) and a locking edge (26). Since the first pinching face (27) and the second pinching face (29) are disposed along the bending direction of the locking arm (24), the pinching operation is facilitated. |
