<p>Systems, apparatus, and methods are disclosed that include a divided exhaust internal combustion engine having a plurality of cylinders including at least one dedicated EGR cylinder, an exhaust system with an exhaust emission after-treatment device for exhaust gases from the other of the plurality of cylinders, an air supply system for supplying fresh air to the cylinders, and a fuel supply system for supplying fuel to each cylinder. A controller is configured to cut off the fuel supply and deactivate the at least one dedicated EGR cylinder in response to EGR cylinder deactivation conditions being present.</p> |
