PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for battery which allows for easy electrical connection of members composed of different metallic materials, while enhancing mass productivity.SOLUTION: A negative electrode terminal 8 (terminal for battery) includes an overlay type clad plate material 82 including an Al layer 80 composed of Al and a Cu layer 81 composed of Cu, and formed by being bonded in the thickness direction (Z direction). An exposure surface 84 for exposing the Cu layer 81 is formed by partially removing the Al layer 80 of the overlay type clad plate material 82.
