<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle pedestrian alarm device capable of properly detecting a pedestrian to warn a driver of the vehicle of information on the pedestrian. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle pedestrian alarm device includes: residual time calculation means 24 for determining a shield existing in front of a rushed-out pedestrian on the basis of information on a visible object detected by visible object detection means 13 and information on the rushed-out pedestrian determined by rushed-out pedestrian determination means 21b to calculate recognition residual time by which the rushed-out pedestrian appears from behind the shield to be a pedestrian who can be recognized; and information providing means 19 for providing information on the recognition residual time calculated by the residual time calculation means 24 for a driver of a vehicle 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
