<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lapping reamer which has an outside diameter, an out-of-roundness and straightness as accurate as a pin gauge, and which is made of cemented carbide, and a method of manufacturing the lapping reamer.SOLUTION: A lapping reamer includes: a cutting part with a cutting edge at the tip; a polishing part neighboring the rear portion of the cutting part, to polish an internal surface of a prepared hole; a reduced-diameter part neighboring the rear portion of the polishing part; and a holding part neighboring the rear portion of the reduced-diameter part. In addition, a surface of the polishing part has knurl grooves consisting of many crossing streaks of clockwise spiral grooves and counterclockwise spiral grooves. This invention also provides a manufacturing method of the lapping reamer.</p> |
