PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of stably maintaining the nip width of a fixing nip and the nip width of a heating nip over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A fixing device 40 including a first unit 41 coming into contact with the surface of a fixing roller 42, to heat the fixing roller 42 and a second unit 43 forming a fixing nip part together with the fixing roller 42 includes a first regulation part 148a regulating the reduction of a distance between the shaft 42a of the fixing roller 42 and the first unit 41 and a second regulation part 148b regulating the reduction of a distance between the shaft 42a of the fixing roller 42 and the second unit 43, so that a heating nip width and a fixing nip width are stabilized over a long period of time. |
