<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a fine structure transfer film which enables a precise pattern shape to be continuously transferred with high quality and uniformity in the width direction even onto a film liable to generate wrinkles owing to small rigidity such as a film with a thin thickness. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a fine structure transfer film includes: a mold heating process for heating a mold 3 in a form of an endless belt with a fine structure formed on its surface while holding it with a heating roll 4; a press transfer process for pressing a film to be molded 2b by the heating roll 4 and a nip roll 6 while keeping a tight contact of between a film to be molded 2b and the mold 3; a conveying process for conveying to a cooling zone while keeping a tight contact between the film to be molded 2b and the mold 3; a mold cooling process for cooling from the mold side while keeping a tight contact between the film to be molded 2b and the mold 3; and a peeling process for peeling the molded film 2b after cooling. In the press transfer process, the conveying process, the mold cooling process and the peeling process, a protective film is laminated on the surface on the opposite side to the transfer surface of the film to be molded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
