<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp how precisely imaging is being performed by a camera.SOLUTION: An imaging simulation device is configured to calculate an amount of monitoring representing a monitoring degree at a predetermined position within a monitoring space by means of an imaging apparatus installed in the monitoring space. The imaging simulation device stores a three-dimensional space model of the monitoring space and imaging condition information including an installation position, an attitude, an angle of view and a resolution of the imaging apparatus. An evaluation region is set on the space model and while using the imaging condition information, the number of pixels in a region corresponding to the evaluation region on a projection surface where the space model is projected in a three-dimensional manner, is calculated. From a ratio of the pixels per unit area of the evaluation region, the amount of monitoring at the predetermined position is calculated and outputted.</p> |
