摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air velocity measuring instrument capable of remarkably reducing power consumption of a blower and achieving "energy saving" by recognizing an average air velocity accurately and immediately as a stable numerical value and defining it as a standard for re-adjusting a rotating speed of the blower, and a power saving filter system employing the air velocity measuring instrument.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an air velocity measuring instrument for measuring an air velocity within a duct of air conditioning equipment and a power saving filter system employing the air velocity measuring instrument, wherein the air velocity measuring instrument is configured to measure an air velocity of circulating air passing inside of the duct of the air conditioning equipment. The air velocity measuring instrument includes: a long measuring pole in a band plate shape; an air velocity sensor that is mounted at a predetermined position in a length direction of the measuring pole; a magnet-type holding member provided in a distal end portion of the measuring pole and fixed on an inner wall of the duct for holding the measuring pole at a predetermined position; and an arithmetic part for calculating an average value of air velocity values within the duct measured at different positions within the duct by means of the air velocity sensor.</p>
