<p>A stereoscopic display system and method includes an image display panel or screen, tracking sensors, and a means to create first and second stereoscopic images based on viewpoint. This allows the viewer to perceive the 3D stereoscopic image as approximately fixed in space. By comparing the tracked location of external objects with the fixed virtual location of the stereoscopic image, object interaction with the virtual image may be accomplished in real space.</p> |
