<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head control apparatus that calculates print rate for each block and can achieve a plate making operation in a wider area by considering the distribution of the print rate of image information. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal head control apparatus includes: a thermal head that is formed by multiple blocks; an image information calculating unit that calculates the print rate for at least the multiple blocks based on the image information supplied to the thermal head; and a control unit that starts control of the thermal head based on a calculation result in the image information calculating unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
