The invention relates to an arrangement (16) for a household appliance, with a laundry drum (17) for receiving laundry items, and with an annular imbalance compensation device (1), which is arranged rotatably fixed on the laundry drum (17) and is received in a recess (24) axially surrounding the laundry drum (17), wherein at least one latching element (5) is formed on a radial circumference (4) of a housing (2) of the imbalance compensation device (1), which latching element is engaged in a latching opening (29), which is formed in a wall (25) of the laundry drum (17) radially delimiting the axial recess (24), and wherein the latching element (5) has a hook-shaped lug (11), which, on one side (31) of the wall (25) facing away from the imbalance compensation device (1), engages behind an edge region (30) of the wall (25) delimiting the latch opening (29). The invention further relates to a method for fixing the annular imbalance compensation device (1) to a laundry drum (17) of a household appliance. |
