a generation unit configured to generate first print data by dividing image data into units of bands or second print data without dividing image data into units of bands; and a determination unit configured to determine whether memory of the information processing apparatus for generating the second print data has been successfully allocated, wherein the generation unit is configured to generate the second print data if the determination unit determines that the memory of the information processing apparatus for generating the second print data has been successfully allocated, and to generate the first print data if the determination unit determines that the memory of the information processing apparatus for generating the second print data has failed to be allocated. |
