<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for vehicles capable of appropriately switching high-efficiency power generation and high-output power generation, and of preventing deterioration in drivability caused by change in a power generation torque without complicating a brake mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device for vehicles has: a power generator 1; and a lead battery 3 connected via a voltage converter 2 and accumulating a power generated at the power generator 1. The power supply device for vehicles further has power generation allowance torque setting means 61 and target generation power calculation means 62 to calculate a minimum power among a request output power, a power generation possible power, and a maximum generation power as a target generation power. The power supply device for vehicles further has target power generation voltage setting means 63 to set a maximum power generation voltage as a target power generation voltage when the target generation power is equal to the maximum generation power, and to calculate a maximum efficiency power generation voltage that is a power generation voltage by which the power generation efficiency of the power generator 1 becomes the maximum on the basis of a rotation speed of the power generator 1 and the target generation power and to set the maximum efficiency power generation voltage as the target power generation voltage when the target generation power is smaller than the maximum generation power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
