<p>The invention relates to a mobile shield with orientable roller system, used for equipping lumber tractors. The claimed shield consists of some fixing supports (1 and 2) rigidly mounted on the lower and upper part of the tractor chassis, respectively, an articulated upper sub-assembly (3) which consists of two orientable roller systems (4), a panel (5) for protecting the tractor rear part, an articulated lower sub-assembly (6) provided with a support base (7) at whose extremity a fitting (8) made of an abrasive-wear resistant material and two drive cylinders (9) are placed, the orientable roller system (4) allowing a rotation about the system axis and a rotation of each roller about its own axis, the roller profiling radius being larger than the diameter of the cable, which allows the joining knot to pass through the orifice formed between the two rollers.</p> |
