<p>The invention refers to a novel module and modular system for the passive cooling of roofs, which is installed over concrete roofs of dwellings in which the inner temperature is to be reduced for obtaining a comfortable temperature or for reducing the energy load used in air conditioning of buildings. The system is formed by interconnected modules supplied with fresh water obtained from the local distribution network, which enable the temperature to be reduced in the concrete slab over which these modules are located, so as to reduce the temperature of the inner portion of the building. A main characteristic of the system is the recovery of thermal energy resulting from the sun, this being absorbed by the system and transferred in the form of heat to the water molecules, which flow in a circular manner due to the design of the system that allows the water particles to reside a longer period of time due to the angular movement provided in the injection point of the modules. The exit fl ow that contains the stored thermal energy is subsequently used in ordinary domestic tasks.</p> |
