<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush removal method capable of easily removing even a bush with a thin wall thickness without damaging a housing and impairing an inner periphery accuracy of a hole in the housing after replacement, independent of a worker's proficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A guide part 12 at a tip of a tap 11 of a removal tool 10 is inserted into the bush B to enhance verticality, and then, threads are cut to form a thread groove without damaging the bush B. The thread groove thinner than the wall thickness of the bush B can be formed by attaching a control collar 14 to a thread cutting part 13 of the tap 11 and cutting threads until coming into contact with the housing H, thereby cutting the threads in a short period of time without damaging the inner periphery of the hole a in the housing H, independent of the proficiency. Furthermore, a bolt 16 is screwed into the threads formed on the bush B, the bush B is pushed out by applying a removal rod 17 to the bolt 16 from the opposite side and is removed by applying a sufficient force to the bush B via the bolt 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
