<p>The present invention relates to a device and a method for encoding/decoding a multi-channel audio using a spatial filter. The device for decoding a multi-channel audio comprises: a parameter converting unit to predict channel signals to be decoded and to convert a spatial cue received from a multi-channel encoding device according to the channel signals to be decoded; an upmixing information generating unit to generate upmixing information based on the converted spatial cue; and a decoding unit to decode the channel signals in an encoding signal using the encoding signal received from the multi-channel encoding device, a non-correlation signal generated using the encoding signal, and the upmixing information, wherein the spatial cue further comprises channel level differences (CLD) and interchannel phase differences (IPD) in interchannel correlations (ICC).</p> |
