摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial robot having a high support rigidity of a work shaft.SOLUTION: An industrial robot comprises: a head body 11; a work shaft 5 whose one end side has a work part 18 and which is rotatably supported to the head body 11; and a ball screw nut 21. The industrial robot further comprises: a driven pulley 30 of a shaft direction drive device 22 for driving the work shaft 5 in a shaft direction; and a spline nut 41 of a rotation direction drive device 42 for rotating the work shaft 5. The industrial robot further comprises: a speed reducer 43 having an output part 47 to which the spline nut 41 is coupled; and a driven pulley 71 of the rotation direction drive device 42 for transmitting a drive force to an input part 46 of the speed reducer 43. From the another end side to the one end side of the work shaft 5, the driven pulley 30 of the shaft direction drive device 22, the driven pulley 71 of the rotation direction drive device 42, the speed reducer 43, and the spline nut 41 are arranged, in this order.</p>
