PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic coupon ticket use system which allows a coupon ticket to be used easily, a control program, and an information storage medium.SOLUTION: An electronic coupon ticket use system 100 includes a portable terminal 3 a user carries along and a ticket gate 1 having a reader-writer 5. The reader-writer 5 is provided with: a ride information acquisition part 51 which reads entrance information stored in the portable terminal 3 by communicating with the portable terminal 3 at the time of exit and acquires ride information from the entrance information and exit information about an installation position of the reader-writer 5; a coupon ticket use determination part 53 which determines whether or not electronic coupon ticket information stored in the portable terminal 3 can be used; and a coupon ticket update part 54 which uses the electronic coupon ticket information of the portable terminal 3 when use of the electronic coupon ticket information is determined, and updates a usable number. The coupon ticket use determination part 53 determines use of the electronic coupon ticket information when it is determined that the acquired ride information matches the electronic coupon ticket information stored in the portable terminal 3.
