摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow metal sphere group which can be manufactured at a low cost and has large impact force absorption for not only compression but also bending, to provide a manufacturing method of the hollow metal sphere group and to provide a shock absorbing structural material.SOLUTION: A hollow metal sphere group B is made by connecting a plurality of pieces of hollow metal spheres A with belt-like bridges 2. Therein, each hollow metal sphere A is formed into a spherical shape by bending a metal thin plate and the bridges 2 are stamped out from the same metal thin plate in such a state as to be connected to the hollow metal spheres A before being formed. A plurality of pieces of hollow metal sphere groups B are used, are stacked to each other and are connected to form an impact absorbing structural material. The plurality of hollow metal sphere groups B are connected to each other to form an integrated material, the respective hollow metal spheres A are connected to each other by the bridges 2 and, therefore, the resistance force for stretching and bending is high and also the excellent shock absorption force can be exhibited for bending shock.</p>
