Provided is an R-θ table device wherein a table can be moved in a plane in longitudinal, lateral, and rotational directions. The present invention is provided with: a table furnished with a through hole equipped with a bearing; a guide member for holding the table so that the table can move horizontally; a driving device equipped with a working shaft inserted through the bearing at an incline, the driving device driving the working shaft so as to allow the working shaft to rotate and stop; a lifting platform for lifting and lowering the driving device; a lifting device for lifting and lowering the lifting platform and changing the position of a working point at which the working shaft and the bearing engage with each other; and a base provided with a guide member and a post for guiding the lifting platform, the lifting device being mounted on the base. The lifting platform is lifted/lowered to change the horizontal distance between the load center and the center line of the main axis of the driving device, and the table is moved along the guide member to an arbitrary position without rotation.
