摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved macroscopic composite sintered powder metal article of a super hard particle-metal material which enables binding a super hard particle to a different material, especially a metallic material.SOLUTION: Composite sintered powder metal parts 100 and 200 include second regions 112 and 212 which contain one selected from metals and metal alloys of steel, nickel, nickel alloys, titanium, titanium alloys, molybdenum, molybdenum alloys, cobalt, cobalt alloys, tungsten and tungsten alloys and optionally contain 30 vol.% or less of hard particles, and first regions 110 and 210 containing at least 60 vol.% of hard particles are bonded to the second regions 112 and 212 through metallic bond. The second regions 112 and 212 have a thickness larger than 100 microns. A method of producing the macroscopic composite sintered powder metal articles 100 and 200 includes co-compressing a first metal powder containing hard particles and a powder binder with a second metal powder containing the metal or metal alloy and sintering.</p>
