PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a code error generated in a relay section in which monitoring is not performed.SOLUTION: A code error detection system includes: a transmission terminal for transmitting a frame; and a reception terminal for receiving the frame transmitted from the transmission terminal through a relay device. The transmission terminal includes a frame generator unit for calculating a comparison value for use for detecting a frame code error, by performing predetermined calculation to a region excluding a region equal to a predetermined frame region, and for generating a frame by storing the calculated comparison value into a predetermined region of the frame. The reception terminal includes a detector unit for detecting a frame code error on the basis of the comparison value stored in the predetermined region of the frame received through the relay device.
