PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a disaster due to abnormally high temperature from occurring and the damage from spreading to the outside of a body by inhibiting discharge of a combustible gas or high-temperature air to the outside of the body when a heating coil reaches the abnormally high temperature.SOLUTION: In an electromagnetic induction heating cooker of an embodiment, an electric wire 11 for supplying power to a fan 5 is routed below a heating coil 7; and the electric wire 11 is fixed by being sandwiched by an elastic sandwiching member (cooling device stopping means) at a position below the heating coil 7; and driving of the fan 5 can be stopped by a short circuit of power supply to the fan 5 by the sandwiching member 12, which is caused by insulation breakdown of the electric wire 11 for supplying the power to the fan 5 when the heating coil 7 reaches an abnormally high temperature.
