Provided in disclosed aspect of the present invention are an x-ray image apparatus detecting x-ray by using a circuit structure applied to an existing accumulation method without need of preparing a counting circuit for every pixel, and generating x-ray image for each energy band and multiple energy image by counting photon in software method, and a control method thereof. The x-ray image apparatus according to disclosed embodiment of the present invention comprises an x-ray source radiating x-ray of preset broadband and radiating; an x-ray detector composed of multiple raw pixels detecting 10 or less photons average for one x-ray radiation, and converting into electrical signal; and an image processing part separating the multiple raw pixel into each of multiple preset energy bands to generate multiple signal energy images corresponding to multiple energy bands, and generating multiple energy images by using the multiple signal energy images. |
