<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of reading an image even when a plurality of light sources have different spectral characteristics.SOLUTION: An image reading device 50 includes a plurality of xenon lamps 40 that irradiate a recording sheet P and a white plate 72 with light, a CCD sensor 70 that detects color component values of the recording sheet P and white plate 72 for each pixel along the width direction of the recording sheet P, and a control device 60 that performs white shading correction, and then corrects the color component value of an area 82, which is painted out with a chromatic color having a predetermined density, on the basis of the difference between a reference color component value and the color component value of each pixel to an area 86, which is painted out with the same color as the area 82 and having the density equal to or higher than the density in the area 82.</p> |
