The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel compound which is useful as a pharmaceutical product, and which has high antibacterial activity with regard to gram-negative bacteria such as pseudomonas aeruginosa and with regard to the drug-resistant bacteria of gram-negative bacteria. The present invention provides a 2-[{4-[4-(1-aminocyclopropyl)buta-1,3-diyne-1-yl]benzoyl}(methyl)amino]-N-hydroxyl-N',2-dimethyl propane diamide represented by formula [1], or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt of said 2-[{4-[4-(1-aminocyclopropyl)buta-1,3-diyne-1-yl]benzoyl}(methyl)amino]-N-hydroxyl-N',2-dimethyl propane diamide.
