<p>[Problem] To enable efficient power generation and conveying of water by using a reciprocating cylinder-type pump and causing the gravity of water to act on a moving portion of a float valve in each of the directions that the float valve reciprocates. [Solution] With the use of a reciprocating cylinder-type pump, water in a cylinder lower chamber is pumped through a middle tube when the float valve descends, and water in a cylinder upper chamber is pumped between the middle tube and an outer tube when the float valve ascends. The pumped water overflows in the top part of a pumping tube body, and the pumping tube body, a water-collecting chamber of a main body casing, and a beam structure for forming a downstream water channel are filled with water. The gravity of the downstream water acts on a gravity valve provided within the beam structure both when the valve ascends and when the valve descends, this gravity constituting some of the pumping energy of the pumping cylinder. The bottom part of the beam structure is communicated with a water turbine chamber, and the gravity of the pumped water is used to rotate a water turbine, making a motive power source and electricity possible.</p> |
