<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that can promptly start display on a display device after the power is turned on. <P>SOLUTION: When a Pachinko machine is powered on, simplified excitement creating action information is read out from a simplified excitement creating action information memory and set in excitement creation action data (S1204). Then, character information is read out at predetermined intervals by interval interruption. By the completion of the read-out of the character information, symbols are displayed in motion on a third symbol display device (LCD) on the basis of the simplified excitement creation action information. Therefore, symbols can be displayed in motion promptly even after the power is just turned on.
