<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for a manufacturing B-C-N-O phosphor with a high fluorescence quantum yield. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a B-C-N-O phosphor includes an oxidization firing step of firing a nitrogen-containing boron compound in an oxidizing atmosphere. The B-C-N-O phosphor is made of boron (B), carbon (C), nitrogen (N), and oxygen (O) in which a molar ratio between boron and nitrogen composing the nitrogen-containing boron compound ranges from 0.05:1 to 0.5:1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
